NeighborWorks Week Kick-Off, Read, Roam & Gather with us!
Join us for NeighborWorks Week 2024, a free event, this year in collaboration with the Navarino Neighborhood. NeighborWorks Week will kick-off with Navarino Neighborhood’s Summer Reading program and include a tree dedication to Paul Hartman, a longtime Navarino Neighborhood resident. Afterwards, hunt for homes NeighborWorks Green Bay has touched in the Navarino Neighborhood in our scavenger hunt. As an advocacy initiative, NeighborWorks Green Bay will be hosting a resource and information fair simultaneously with the events at Navarino Park. Various organizations and groups, such as Integrated Community Solutions (ICS), Urban Cultural Arts, JOSHUA, and more will be available to share information, resources, and talk with the community. We’ll also be encouraging discussion about housing advocacy and looking for insight from the community about the various housing issues people are experiencing. A variety of food will be provided, as well as prizes, WPS Home Kits, and more to come. Hope to see you there!
The Summer Reading program, tree dedication, and scavenger hunt will be held at Navarino Park, 800 Stuart Street, Green Bay. The advocacy resource fair will be held at NeighborWorks Green Bay, 437 S. Jackson Street, Green Bay.
