NEIGHBORWORKS GREEN BAY HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The best time to start your homebuying journey with NeighborWorks Green Bay is before you apply for preapproval and begin looking at homes. The information below describes what you can expect when you work with our caring HUD-certified counselors.
STEP 1: Intake
Fill out the interest form below to get connected with our homeownership center staff. Return our intake packet and income documents as soon as possible to move forward.
STEP 2: Homebuyer Education
Register and pay for homebuyer education.
Our monthly live class costs $50 and our self-paced class online costs $125.
STEP 3: Counseling
Meet with a NeighborWorks Green Bay counselor for an up to 90-minute appointment where we’ll work together to help achieve your goal of homeownership.
STEP 4: Down Payment Assistance
Once you complete homebuyer education and counseling we will review your down payment and closing cost assistance eligibility together. There may be other fees associated with down payment assistance.
Please keep in mind that we try our best, but this process can take up to 30 days to complete. We highly recommend completing this program before applying for pre-approval and looking at homes!
Any forms that require signature will be sent via email prior to your scheduled homebuyer education class date.
